The Hoboken Historical Museum House Tour is one of the Museum’s longest-running and most beloved traditions, inviting the public to step inside some of Hoboken’s most unique and beautiful homes—all while supporting the Museum’s mission to preserve and share the city’s rich history.

This self-guided tour highlights the diversity of Hoboken living, from lovingly restored 19th-century townhouses to modern condos with sweeping city views. Each stop offers its own story, blending architecture, history, and personal style. Past tours have featured a Victorian home filled with art, a spacious Shipyard residence overlooking Manhattan, and even the historic Yankee Ferry.

Check-in begins at two convenient locations:

• Uptown: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St. (opens at 9 am)
• Downtown: Boomerang Bites, 152 Newark St. (opens at 9 am)

Guests will receive a program with a map and descriptions of each home’s standout features. Allow 2–3 hours to enjoy the tour at your own pace. No physical or digital tickets are issued—simply provide the purchaser’s name at check-in to receive wristbands and programs for your group.

As part of the day, visitors can also stop by the Museum’s walkway for a silent auction featuring prints from the Museum’s collection.

Tour Guidelines:
• Many homes are not ADA accessible.
• Strollers, carriages, and large bags are not permitted inside the homes.
• Please remove or avoid wearing high heels, which may damage floors.
• Food, drinks, and umbrellas must remain outside.
• Please respect roped-off or closed areas.
• Flat, comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.

The non-member, day-of price will be $55.
