Step beyond the brownstones and discover Hoboken’s hidden green spaces on the Secret Garden Tour, returning on Saturday, June 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This beloved, self-guided walking tour offers a rare opportunity to explore some of the city’s most enchanting private gardens—lush urban retreats, thoughtfully designed courtyards, and unexpected oases tucked behind Hoboken’s historic homes.

The tour celebrates creativity, landscape design, and the beauty of green spaces in an urban environment. Each participating garden offers its own distinctive character, making this a day of inspiration for gardeners, architecture lovers, and anyone looking to experience Hoboken from a new perspective.

Please Note:

• Heeled shoes are not permitted; please wear flat, comfortable footwear.

• Not all garden locations are wheelchair accessible.

• Carriages and strollers are not permitted inside the gardens.
