Hoboken Talks: Museum Director interviews Eric Kammer, Hoboken native and enthusiast
December 6, 2021 @ 12:00 am
Join us online Thursday, December 23 at 7 pm when Museum Director Bob Foster interviews Eric Kammer, Hoboken native and enthusiast.
Eric Kammer was born in Hoboken in 1958 and lived in a tenement on 13th and Bloomfield. He grew up playing stickball right in front of the Museum, so it has a special place in his heart. He “took all that Hoboken could give a kid at that time: the Hoboken Shore Railroad, marching band, whiffleball, bottle caps, Johnny on the Pony and street hockey.” After moving to Edison and starting his own family, Kammer returned weekly to visit his parents and brother, and take pictures with his father. Because his mother “did not throw anything out,” we’re looking forward to the pictures, Hoboken memorabilia and stories he will share.
Kammer is a loyal viewer of Hoboken Talks and watches every week with his family
