February 15, 2015 • 4pm Location: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., (201) 656-2240 In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. Dr. Lee Vinsel, professor of history at Stevens Institute of Technology, will discuss "How Should We Remember the Stevens Family?" ==== Stevens Talk: Allen Kratz, "Learning from Martha Bayard Stevens: Education All Around Town" March 8, 2015 • 4pm Location: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., (201) 656-2240 In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. Williams Library, Stevens Institute of Technology In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. Leah Loscutoff, Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at Stevens Institute will lead a tour of the Stevens archives at the Samuel C. Williams Library. ==== Stevens Talk: John Gomez, "Monuments to Hoboken: A Bus Tour of the Architectural History of the Stevens Family" April 4, 2015 • 2pm Location: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., (201) 656-2240 In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. John Gomez, author and architectural historian, will lead a bus tour around the city, "Monuments to Hoboken: A Bus Tour of the Architectural Heritage of the Stevens Family." ==== Stevens Talk: Film by John Dalton, "Tales from Castle Stevens" April 12, 2015 • 4pm Location: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., (201) 656-2240 In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. We are pleased to present a screening of the film, "Tales from Castle Stevens." Written and produced by John Dalton, the video is narrated by eminent author and historian Richard Reeves. Award-winning author Holly Metz will discuss "Peter Lee (1804-1902): Born of slave parents, the property of Colonel John Stevens." ==== Stevens Talk: Bob Foster, "The Stevens Legacy," a bus tour including a visit to the family plot at the Hoboken Cemetery June 41, 2015 • 2pm Location: Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., (201) 656-2240 In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy.
