Notes: Jersey City, Hoboken and Paterson Street Railway Company was organized 1899 (incorporated Nov. 1) as a consolidation of several (probably seven) streetcar companies. David Young was the President initially, later Thomas N. McCarter. North Hudson County Railway Co. acquired control in 1901 and in 1907, Public Service was formed and the company became part of that organization. See page [12] of library catalog 2002.214.0006.
