Object/Artifact
Paper: Constructor's Tracing Paper, No. 334-1/2TG, cross section 10 x 10 to the half inch, 20 inch by 50 yards, made by Keuffel & Esser Co., New York, no date, circa 1944-1954. Full roll (2-3/4" diameter x 22" overall width) in original green paper packaging with printed paper label.
The twenty inch refers to the width of the printed cross-section grid; with margins, it was 22" wide.
This stock number first appeared in the 40th edition catalog of 1944 and was in the 41st edition catalog of 1949 (note earlier catalogues listed it as 334-1/2 or 334-1/2TN.) The 42nd edition catalog of 1954 uses the same stock number, but K&E labels changed in the 1950s as it replaced the traditional and somewhat antiquated design seen on this roll with a simpler style. The roll here is probably from the mid-1940s to the mid-1950s.
