Object/Artifact

Note: on all the cent symbol is used in the price, but written out below.
1: A flying Tootsie Roll with a boy and girl riding on it. "America's Favorite Chewy Chocolate Candy." Bird holding card "Over 250 Million sold last year; 1 cent and 5 cent rolls."
2. Chocolate Tootsie Rolls in printed wrapper. "Delicious" "1 cent and 5 cents."
3. Beach scene with woman; man has drawn lettering in sand "I Love Tootsie". Wrapped chocolate Tootsie Roll depicted. "1 cent and 5 cents"
Tootsie Rolls were made in Hoboken during this period by the Sweets Company of America, whose name does not appear on these items.
Objects 1 and 2 have the name "Lion Match Co., New York " on them and who would be considered as the maker and issuer of them. While no.3 is clipped on the end that would have had their marking, it is probably from the same company.
