Numbered and dated in image: C1084-15, 1-30-28; also number at lower right: 675. The view is looking east from Washington St. The rear of buildings on Hudson Street can be seen with the white building at the upper right being the Terminal Building. This 'alley' is Court Street. At the left are buildings on Newark Street. The building with the flagpole is the Steneck Building on River Street.
The north face of the Hotel Victor at the northeast corner of Hudson Place (Ferry St.) and Hudson Street can be seen: there is a painted sign for the Lyric Theatre.
