The view is looking northeast from the midblock of Washington St. between Newark St. and Observer Highway. The rear of buildings on Hudson Street can be seen at the center. The brickwork on the stage house and the backstage offices at the right is nearly completed. Erection of the auditorium roof and exterior walls is started at the left including the interior steel work for the balcony.
