Numbered and dated in image: C1084-29, 3-20-28. The elevated view probably from Hoboken City Hall is looking southeast. The rear of buildings on Hudson Street can be seen with the Terminal Building at the left. Erection of the auditorium roof and exterior walls including the interior steel work for the balcony appear to be nearing completion. The brickwork for the corner theatre entrance and store frontage on Newark Street is complete.
The north face of the Hotel Victor at the northeast corner of Hudson Place (Ferry St.) and Hudson Street can be seen: there is a painted sign for the Lyric Theatre.
