Archive
A group of 14 manuals and training materials created by the War Department, U.S. Army, for classroom and field education during World War II, between 1940 and 1945. They cover a range from the elementary aspects of military life to the more involved such as code machines, signals and photogrammetry. A few items were marked as restricted. Almost all are illustrated with line drawings and/or photographs. In general, they are in very good condition although for most of them the paper is darkened and brittle.
Some belonged to a Staff Sargeant Frank C. Hodge, DDI Team. One belonged to a Staff Sargeant V.C. Whinfield (sic).
