Sepia tone photo of Hudson Square Park, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1880. Print ca. 12" x16" mounted on contemporary brittle board; edges trimmed irregularly. Reverse is blank. Photograph taken by Ernst F. Walter. An elevated view looking southeast towards the Hudson River. The park is now known as Stevens Park, between Fourth and Fifth Streets. This image was used by the photographer as a published photographic postcard. This image is the same as photo catalog 2003.028.0001 which is a digital image of the same print. It was framed and displayed at the Elysian Cafe, Hoboken.See notes.
