DescriptionEngraver's shifting head T-square, model 2065, made by Keuffel & Esser Co., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1900-1928. Steel 6" blade with hang hole; shifting brass head (4" wide); swivel locking knob with knurled edge; knob top engraved with an "A", Marking on blade is Keuffel & Esser Co., New York. K&E had its factory in Hoboken and after 1907 also its general offices. The model number does not appear on the item. Up until the 37th edition catalog of 1928 this specialty t-square was offered in five sizes including the six inch adjustable one here. From that catalogue forward, only the 8 and 12 inch ones were offered. Typical depiction found on page 222 of 1909 33rd edition catalog.
