Commemorative watch fob with chain: Interstate Head Pin Tournament, Hudson Alleys, Hoboken, N.J. Championship. No date, circa 1890-1910. Cast metal fob with high relief, silver plated, 1" wide x 1-3/8" high; 11-1/4 long chain - 1/16" square x with links in two lengths: 4 links 3/4" long with blue chain motif on all faces; 10 undecorated silver links, 11/16" long.
Bowling tournaments between clubs in different states were common in the period. "Head pin" was for ten pin games as opposed to the nine-pin game.
Maker's mark on back: D&G Plated, Dieges & Clust.
Commemorative shield shaped medal featuring two bowling pins and ball between; eagle at top; lettered.
