Receipt book labeled "Propeller Wheels Sept 29-1959" from the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Rail Road store room. D.L. & W. Form SD10 3M - 6-53. 4" x 7" wide.
A complete book with all leaves present, but only 14 from the front are filled out and detached. Although the cover date starts September 29, 1959, the first entered form is dated January 20, 1960. The last dated entry is for November 29, 1961. The railroad operations were merged with The Erie Railroad in Oct. 1960 and became company became the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad.
The store room stocked propellers for ferry boats and tug boats.
Vessels are named plus there is occasional information about where the replacement was installed on the vessel.
All forms are filled out as carbon copies, but there is no evidence that the originals were leaves pulled from this book (see 2002.214.0023 for book with entries from 1956-1959.)
