Matchbook cover: "A Cute Trick". Homestead Bar & Grill, Micca & Scheltz, Props., Cor. 3rd & Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa late 1940s. Printed color on cardstock, 1-9/16" wide x 4-1/2" high.
A pin-up matchbook cover depicts a woman wearing a two-piece bathing or sun suit with a top hat in one hand and holding up a card hand in the other. While "trick" is part of card games, it is unknown if the hat is part of pun on "hat trick" which is only part of bridge, an uncommon game to be played at a bar.
The Homestead was at 301 Washington St.
