Pamphlet: Baseball's First Regular Game. Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Nine-Man Game Played Between Organized Teams at Hoboken, New Jersey, on June 19, 1846. "Booklet was prepared by General Foods Corporation as a service for sports editors in particular, and all baseball fans in general." [Hoboken], 1946. 6" x 9" high, [12] pp, illustrated.
Hoboken had a centennial celebration for the event. General Foods includes a photo of the Maxwell House Coffee plant in Hoboken which covers the area where the game was played plus a short history of the plant. Also a view of the bronze sign that was placed at Eleventh and Hudson Sts. See related.
