Varnished natural wood, serpentine top profile, 9-1/4" long x 1-1/4" wide narrowing to 3/4" wide at bristle end. Imprinted in black with business name and addresses. Black bristle brush, 1-3/4" high x 3-1/4" long x 1/2" wide.
This item belong to Calvin Peck (1848-1923) and family. Peck was once an employee of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad in Hoboken.
Bruce's Directory 1910-1911 lists this business at both addresses; 1907 has only Jersey City address with home at 1201 Park Ave., Hoboken for Joseph A. Heath.
