Digital image of typed-letter signed to Kenneth Schultz from the Acting Postmaster, Nicholas J. Caruso, Hoboken, March 15, 1955 about the enclosure of 50 postal cachets and that he will contact him about the forthcoming luncheon.
The Kiwanis Club of Hoboken sponsored a student competition for artwork to be used on a postal cachet commemorating the Centennial of the City of Hoboken. Schultz was an entrant and was the third prize winner. Eugene Romo was the first prize winner and his work was the published envelope.
Original item was found on the verso of leaf 41 of a 1949 scrapbook album of Ken Schultz of Hoboken.
