Scope and ContentSouvenir journal (program) for First Annual Dance of the Turk's S[ocial]. & A[thletic]. Club, Hoboken, March 2, 1940. Booklet, 6" x 9" high, [12] pp. plus cover; lacking first leaf with pages [1-2]. Numerous ink and pencil notations in list of boosters. This copy may have belonged to a Frank Baragona. Event was held at Crystal Ballroom, 6th & Jefferson St., Hoboken. Featured Eddy Henckler and His Famous Orchestra. The Club sponsored a Football Team which has a members list on pg [5]. Several pages of advertisements plus five pages of boosters which has many people listed with their nicknames. Location of the club is not given, but it was possibly at 404 Madison St. (see top ad on pg [5] for Willie Quack's, Turk's Palace Emporium.)
