Scope and ContentSouvenir journal (program) for Second Annual Dance of the Turk's S[ocial]. & A[thletic]. Club, Hoboken, March 8, 1941. Booklet, 6" x 9" high, [12] pp. plus cover with text on inside back cover. Numerous ink and pencil notations; apparently used for organizing this event or the next year's event. This copy may have belonged to a Frank Baragona. Event was held at Crystal Ballroom, 6th & Jefferson St., Hoboken. Featured Eddy Henckler and His Famous Orchestra. The Club sponsored a Football Team which has a members list on pg [8]. Several pages of advertisements and 3 pages plus the inside back cover with boosters which has many people listed with their nicknames. Location of the club is not given, but it was possibly at 404 Madison St. (see top ad on pg [7] for Willie Quack's, Turk's Palace Emporium.)
