Tennis glove: Neumann Tackified Glove. Manufactured with Neumann leather, R. Neumann & Co., Hoboken, N.J. Manufactured in Korea. No date, circa 1987-1995. Oval inkstamp in black inside glove: Neumann Tackified Glove. U.S. Patent 4,598,429 (this was issued July 8, 1986 and assigned to R. Neumann.) Stamped below oval: W - S Although not so marked, this sports glove was produced by a subsidiary, Neumann Tackified Glove Company, which was based at R. Neumann in Hoboken. Sold in 1995 and moved to Tennessee. See notes. Type of glove is not stated on item. Women's, small size, left hand only. Navy blue fabric with gray and light gray leather. Reinforced cuff plus velcro closure with Neumann emblem embroidered on flap. Printed label sewn in: Tackified Cabretta.. Womens: 2.
