Black-and-white photo postcard of the baseball team from the U.S.S. Siboney, no place, no date, circa 1919-1920. 3-3/8" high x 5-3/8" wide. Photographer not known. Contemporary holographic ink inscription on print identifying the player in front, second from the right as "Herb." None of the other 12 men are identified. Reverse has the typical postcard format otherwise blank; has some remains of former album mount.
Ten of the twelve wear uniforms lettered U.S.S. Siboney and have matching caps. On each end is a sailor in uniform (presumably equipment managers or drivers). One crouching man is wearing a dark sweater and is probably the coach or manager of the team.
