Plot plans for the General Foods Corporation, Maxwell House Coffee Division, Hoboken, N.J., 1962. Surveyed 6-20-62 for Factory Mutual Engineering Division, Associated Factory Mutual Fire Insurance Companies, Norwood, Mass. Two printed plans, both index number 29225; Western plan is serial no. 56571, Eastern plan serial number 56572. Intended to be used as a set. Two sheets 17" wide x 19-1/2" high, printed one side only. Color coded, but no key for the code.
Scale: 1 inch = 50 feet. Available as TIFF files and PDF.
Can be considered as a 'fire map.' It has details of building designations, type and construction, dates, their operational use and equipment especially that related to fire hazards or safety.
