From New York for Hamburg via Plymouth and Cherbourg, Thursday, Sept. 19th, 1907 at 3:00 p.m. Booklet, 5-1/2" wide x 8-1/4" high, 32 pages plus cover; three stab holes from a previous binding. Pencil annotations on cover: Sept. 19, 1907, 10th Atlantic Crossing SS "America."
Cover has Hamburg-American Line logo (H.A.P.A.G.) with company name and title - List of Passengers.
This Hamburg-American ocean liner sailed from the company's Hoboken piers. Selected pages are imaged. First and Second Cabin [Class] passengers are listed. Most of the content is promotion of routes and lines along with rules, policies, etc. Also lists its vessels, data, speed achievements. Notes its modern Marconi (wireless) telegraphy station. Some text is in both English and German.
Only reference to Hoboken is on the back cover where a distance chart notes: Hoboken to Quarantine Station [Ellis Island] 7 miles.
