President Wilson arrived at Hoboken aboard the U.S.S. George Washington on July 8, 1919 as he returned from peace talks in Europe. There was motorcade on Washington Street, Hoboken, with the President (and General John J. Pershing) circa July 8th or 9th. The parade would have passed by Cordts. This advertising item may have been a souvenir of this event.
