Statement made in 2006 by Robert Burczy about these photos: When Mayor Russo got money to improve Washington Street, he put up kiosks for everyone to put up community signs. The problem was that they were not big enough for all the flyers and no one showed respect for anybody else's posters. These photos show how it always looks and you can't see anything. So because no one could find a 'Burczy' on them, I never used them there.
Reproductions were used in the exhibition, The Poster Art of Robert Burczy, in the Upper Gallery, Hoboken Historical Museum, May 7 to July 1, 2006 (was scheduled to end June 11, but it was extended.)
