Photograph
Sepia-tone photo of a person in Uncle Sam costume with two costumed girls posed outside a clapboard sided building with shutters, no place, no date, ca. 1912-1925.
Print 6-5/8" wide x 4-5/8" high on trimmed 8" x 10" photographer's mount. Photographer not indicated. Reverse is blank.
The two U.S. flags appear to be 48 star flags which would date this image as no earlier than 1912. Behind them is a three-wheeled bicycle with a rear wicker chair attached with its own guide wheel. Decorated with flowers, mostly roses, and a feathered eagle sculture. One or both girls, circa 4-5 years old, are possibly related to the J. Widmann family of Hoboken. See notes.
