Sepia-tone photo of a young man posed in photographer's studio, Hoboken, no date, probably 1895-1905. Cabinet photograph, trimmed to 3-15/16" wide x 6-1/2" high. Photographer's mount with blind emboss in bottom border. Photographer was Magnus Artistic Photographer, 520 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. Reverse blank except for photographer's imprint. He is not identified, but is possibly Charles Futterer at about 20 years of age. See notes.
Photographer's emboss on front has his address as 820 Washington St. and on the reverse as 520 Washington St. which is correct.
See negatives and prints in photo records 2006.001.01xx series that appear to be related to one unidentifed family (possibly the Futterer family) who were probably residents of 108 10th Street, Hoboken. See notes for details.

Notes: The 108 Tenth Street address was the residential side entrance to the building at 1001 Bloomfield St. which was then Futterer's Market operated by Charles Futterer. Wife was Tenah.
