Reverse has notations from Jersey Observer newspaper. Photographer was Scully. Event was the ceremonial turnover of the Mayor's office from Frank Hague, who was retiring, to his nephew, Frank Hague Eggers. Eggers was to remain in office only 2 years, when he was defeated by John V. Kenny. From the memorabilia of the Yaccarino family.
