Telegram with birthday wishes to George [A.] Maier, 108 7th St., Hoboken, Oct. 22, 1946. Western Union form with special envelope "A Greeting by Western Union."
Signed by Virginia, Paul and George.
Presumably this is Maier's work address. He lived at 833 Bloomfield St., Hoboken. The signer "George" is probably his son, George R. Maier, who was then a Lieutenant on active duty in the U.S. Naval Reserves and was based at the Naval Air Station, Memphis, Tennessee.
Virginia and Paul have not been identified, but are likely to be siblings of George R. or an in-law.
