Old Guard - twenty five year employees Incumbent Golden Guard members listed on pg [2]. Note this is the last year that the groups were referred to as Golden Guard and Old Guard. The next year, it was 'The Twenty-five Year Club' and the incumbent Golden Guard was called 'The Fifty-year Club.' Item may have been distributed to all employees, but it is probable it was created specifically for a dinner or similar event at which new members were the guests of honor. Not all employees worked in Hoboken. K&E was in the process of moving operations to new main offices and facilities in Morristown, N.J. or factories at other locations. This item does not have any Hoboken notice on it. The company essentially ended operations in Hoboken at the end of December 1968. The dinner for these inductees was on November 1, 1968 (see archives 2003.037.0055 for the program.)
