Notes: Twenty-five Years of Service Gordon D. Anthony San Francisco Born in San Mateo, California, Gordon is married and has three children. Currently Branch Manager in San Francisco, Gordon has enjoyed a varied career while at K&E. Past positions have included those of Store Salesman, Outside Sales Representative and Sales Manager. All positions were at the San Francisco Branch. In his free time, Gordon's hobbies include golfing and bowling. He is also a strong supporter of the University of California and its various athletic teams. Gordon is a member of The Commonwealth Club of California and the San Carlos Y.M.C.A. Irene Kurtz Morristown An Inventory Clerk in the Production Planning Department of K&E, in Morristown, Irene spent most of her years with K&E performing clerical duties in Department "I". She has also worked in Department B as a scheduler and the Purchasing Department. Although born in Jersey City, Irene is now a resident of Union, N.J. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, cooking and baking. Attending good movies and traveling are also favorites of Irene. Joseph E. Lionelli Department I Born in New York City, Joe is married and has three children. He is also a very proud grandfather with six grandsons and one granddaughter. He has served K&E as an Elevator Operator, Lumber Stock Handler, Material Handler and Tape Cleaning Machine Operator. Joe's number one hobby is playing with his grandchildren. When he has some free time, he also enjoys relaxing in front of his television set. Lillian Luciano Morristown Lillian is a Keypunch Supervisor in the Data Processing Department in Morristown. She has also worked as a Mail Clerk; in the Order Desk Department; Order Billing Department and in Data Processing as a Keypunch Operator. In her spare time, Lillian enjoys traveling, music and the New York Theatre. Lillian is looking forward to a Hawaiian trip and hopes to make this dream a reality next year. William J. Mclntyre Long Island City A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bill is married and has one son and two daughters. Although he currently operates an Offset Press in our Long Island City location, Bill has also served K&E as a part-time Messenger and a Blueprint Operator. In his spare time, Bill is an avid sports fan and the New York Mets and the New York Jets are two of his favorites. A U.S. Navy veteran, Bill served in World War II and was recalled to service during the Korean outbreak. Carmelo A. Marino Department I Tony was born and raised in Hoboken. He is married and has two sons and one daughter and is very proud of one son that graduated from Fordham University School of Business last June. Presently, a Jig Borer Operator in our Hoboken Plant, Tony began his K&E career as a Slide Rule Adjuster in Department S. He then worked as a Milling Machine Operator, a Drill Press Operator and Inspector, all in Department "S" and an Instrument Repairman in Department "R". Tony has his own home and does most of the repair work himself. A sports enthusiast, he enjoys baseball the most. A Veteran who served with the U.S. Army Ordinance Corps, Tony is a member of the American Legion and the Catholic War Veterans. John J. Niemynski Morristown Hoboken claims John as one of its sons as he was born there. John is married and has three children. He is the Director of Systems Planning and Development in Morristown, and has enjoyed a most varied career at K&E. Past positions included Factory Order Repair Department Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Supervisor, Supervisor of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and Branch Accountant In his free time, John's hobbies are golf, bowling and oil painting. John is a past-treasurer of the Lake Intervale Management Association, a local community activity. Josef P. Pohl Department I A Photographic Processor in our Hoboken Plant, Joe claims Breslau, Germany as his birthplace. While at K&E, Joe has worked as a Punch Press Operator; a Dividing Machine Operator and performed various other bench assembly work. In his spare time, Joe enjoys traveling and gardening. He is an active member in the Federation of American Citizens of German Descent. August A, Rochi Department R "Rocky" as he is known to his many friends, is a Receiving Clerk in the Repair Department in our Hoboken Plant. In the past, he has also served K&E as an Elevator Operator and a Helper in our Woodworking Department. Rocky has an avid interest in all sports, but likes baseball and horse racing the most. One other number one hobby is listening to good music. Although a native of Hoboken, Rocky has ambitions to settle down in some quiet suburb when he reaches retirement age. Loretta Scully Department I Loretta first saw the light of day in Hoboken. She is presently performing the duties of an Optical Cementer in our Hoboken Plant. In her career at K&E, Loretta has operated many of K&E's machines and performed various assembly operations. In addition, she has also worked as a Receiving Clerk, Packer, and Inspector.
