Solar Ephemeris for 1933 and other Tables and Data useful to the Surveyor. Published by Keuffel & Esser Co., N.Y., copyright 1932. Softcover booklet, 3-1/4" x 5-7/8" high, 86 pp. plus stiff orange wrappers (actual 87 pages; there is a page 18a and it is referred to in text on pg 84; blank leaves at end), diagrams, illustrations. PDF on file. A typical example of this annual publication issued by K&E for circa 80 years. A field reference work, it does include instructional information for use of selected types of instruments. Alidades, although mentioned, and plane table surveying are not covered as they are in later years. While the cover and title page state New York, K&E had their offices and factory in Hoboken at this time. Promotional copy is present for related instruments and surveyor's tools along with the K&E Surveyor's Duplex Slide Rule (pp 27-28), a 20 inch slide useful for using the tables and doing calculations in the field or office.
