The equipment appears to be for buffing parts; note various size wheels stored on the wall. Although the photographer's name in image is reversed, the image is printed correctly as can been seen by the calendar lettering. Note that photo catalog 2008.001.0027 is another interior photo of the same company and is more specifically dated as March 22, 1923. The company was at the northwest corner of Clinton and Tenth Streets, 1000-1004 Clinton St.
