Printed dining table seating ticket: Hamburg-Amerika Linie (Hamburg-American Line), Fruher Tisch / Early Service, Tisch / Table No. 10, Stuhr / Chair No. 2. No place, no date, circa 1900-1914. Printed paper form, 2-11/16" high x 3-1/2" wide; imprinted with the numbers '10' and '2'. Text in German and English as above (company name only in German.)
Hamburg-American Line's American home port was Hoboken during this period. This item was likely printed and imprinted on board a passenger ship, name unknown. While the line had routes other than just the trans-Atlantic passages between Europe and Hoboken and it may have been used on one of those other routes, it is considered as typical of the ones used on their ocean liners that did operate from Hoboken.
