Fiftieth anniversary of Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken. Overview of brands and description of famous sign including its designer, Arthur R. Blair. Leads to description of film, "Christmas in July," in which a character works in Hoboken at the "Maxford House Coffee" company. The neon illuminated sign of the plant is seen in the film.
Donations: four photos of Tietjen & Land Dry Dock Co. some with William Kruse, uncle of donor, Louise Kruse Mohns. Reproduction of ship in dry dock captioned: Bethelehem Steel Shipyard, Hoboken; "S.S. Ancon," June 1, 1933.
