Notes: The Lawson Macmurray Lumber Company had previously occupied the site. The site was once part of Elysian Fields and the New York (later New Jersey) Yacht Club clubhouse was on the site. Other site users: Orient Steamship Line, Pennsylvannia Railroad, Dykes Lumber, U.S. Army Transport Service (as part of World War I Port of Embarkation and Debarkation). The General Foods Maxwell House Coffee plant opened in 1939 and closed 1992. Demolished 2004; now on the site - residential buildings, Maxwell Place, Maxwell Place Park, along with new boathouse and waterfront walkway/pier.
