Photographer not indicated. Reverse is blank except for the penciled note: "#6." With: graduation certificate of Dorothy Florence Van Keuren dated as above taped on the reverse of the backing board - this item is imaged here, but is separately catalogued as archives 2009.028.0001.01; 6" x 8" wide. The group photo was taken in the hospital interior at the bottom of the main staircase as part of the graduation ceremony. None of the individuals are identified by text, but a modern "post-it" dot was found on the glass over the face of the second woman from the right, front row, which was presumed to be Dorothy Florence Van Keuren. All the women are wearing corsages with the thirteen graduates wearing a different one from the staff; the new nurses are holding their diplomas (binders). Van Keuren, born 1927, was 22 years old.
