About half of the contents is devoted to the history of the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad (and the predecessor companies), the Lackawanna Terminal and current developments on the occasion of New Jersey Transit celebrating its takeover of the suburban passenger operations in Hoboken. A Hoboken Terminal Renaissance Festival was to be held on Oct. 3, 1981 to commemorate the official rededication of the Lackwanna Terminal as Hoboken Terminal.
