2-3/4" high x 4-1/2" wide. Photograph taken by William H. Watts (stated on reverse.) Reverse has imprinted form with holographic ink entries with description, location and date. Designated as photo 1 for this record (see notes below on 3 other photographs.)
The view is northeast from Observer Highway and Hudson Street of a trolley on the Weehawken, West Shore Terminal Route heading northbound from the Public Service Railway terminal. The reverse noted the car was "Red."
Seen at the left is the Hotel Victor at 44 Hudson Street with a view to its right of the Lyric Theatre back end with a painted sign "Soulier's Lyric Theatre" on the south face. Right of the sign is the American Hotel at the corner of River St. and Hudson Place. At the right edge is a maintenance building of the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad.

Photo 2: no date, circa 1930s, possibly Hoboken; reverse of print is blank. Car no. 2645 at a stop on an elevated line, probably an outbound station in Hoboken. Reverse of print is blank. View is probably east with the buildings seen on the north side of Observer Highway (or Ferry Street.)
