Dates and descriptions below as found on slide mounts. Date photograph taken is not stated, but is more likely to be circa 1975. Processor's dates are for Kodak duplicate slides on numbers 2, 3 and 4. Slide 1: Hoboken Truck 3, 1960 Maxim 100' [ one hundred feet]; 3-3 Penn RR Yards 8-11-75. File number 2110. Although dated as August 11, 1975, the Kodachrome duplicate is dated by the processor as March 1975. View is north of the ladder truck parked on River Road outside of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Marine Division piers in Hoboken on River Road about 10th St. In the background is the Maxwell House Coffee plant. Slide 2: Hoboken, N.J. Eng 3 wagon; 1934 Ahrens-Fox. Kodak color slide duplicate; processor's date of August 1981. Engine No. 3 is seen outside the firehouse at Jefferson & Second Streets. Slide 3: Hoboken, N.J. Eng 1, 1934 Ahrens-Fox, 1000 GPM [gallons per minute]. Kodak color slide duplicate; processor's date of Feb. 1982. Beyond Engine No. 1 is Engine No. 3 as lettered on the hood. The location is not given, but a pier shed is in the background. There was a major pier fire in 1975 and if related to slide 1 in terms of date taken (rather than duplicated), it would be the "right" location. Slide 4: Hoboken, New Jersey.
