DescriptionBlack-and-white photos, three, of United Decorating Co. decor for Vivian's bridal shower, no place (probably Hoboken), no date, circa late 1940s or early 1950s. 8" x 10" prints. Photographer is not indicated. Reverse of all are blank. Location of event is not given nor are the women identified. 'Vivian' who is in all three photos is about to marry 'Poor Bob' as a small sign states. Photo possibly taken by William Kirchgessner who was then operating United Decorating Co. along with other family members. Two of the tree photos have tack holes at corners suggesting they were displayed probably as promotion of party decor typically done. The decorations include fringed banners, one with applied cut-out and decorated letters, plus other stock elements and materials.
