Photograph
Sepia-tone photo of three young women on front steps (716 Bloomfield St.?), (Hoboken), June 1900. 4-1/8" wide x 5-5/8" high printed mounted on photographer's board. Photographer not indicated. Reverse has ink notation in the hand of Florence Miller: Allce, Ceil, and Ella, June 1900.
From the papers of Florence and Madeline Miller who lived at 716 Bloomfield Street for their entire lives. Florence would have been ten years old at the time of this photo. Relationship of the three women to the Millers is not known at this time.
Presumably a cabinet photo that has been cut; bevel edge with color is seen on the top and sides, but the bottom portion where a photographer's imprint is nornally found has been trimmed.
Nice details of the iron fencing and newel.
