A WORD OF APPRECIATION The New Inquirer wishes to thank the many friends who have helped to make the Essay Contest such a success: The teachers who encouraged the children; the children themselves; the donors of first and second prizes; Supt. Demarest and Principal Brandt for their aid in arranging the program and other details in connection with the presentation exercises; the judges for their work in selecting the winners; the Board of. NOTE The Essays of the eight medal winners will be published in The New Inquirer to-morrow, April 14. The Essays of those who received honorable mention will be published Sunday, April 21.
