Card: Flashcard. A 6" x 8-1/2" card printed full-color artist's reproduction of a flag quilt originally displayed at the World Trade Center in 2001. Displayed in September 2002 on the coffee silo building of the former Maxwell House Coffee plant, Hoboken, facing the Hudson River. Danny Gans of the Hoboken Brownstone Company, the owners of the site, placed the flag on display as part of the commemoration of the disaster of September 11, 2001. A sailboat parade on the river was held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002 as one of the remembrance events.
An identification key to the 207 flags sewn into one giant one is printed on the reverse. The website for the flag is: www.theworldflag.net. Four copies on file.
