This issue focuses on the wartime campus and its impact on student life. It has many of the typical scenes of student activities - educational, athletic, cultural and social, but also the military atmosphere of the time. Official U.S. Navy photos were used as section dividers. This copy belonged to Richard Dean Hoover who was not a member of the Class of 1944. He has inscribed the front endpaper twice - at the top, his name and home address, 1000 Bloomfield Street, Roaring Spring, Pennsylvannia and at the bottom - Rm 215, Palmer Hall, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey.
