DescriptionThirty day excursion (roundtrip) ticket of the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad Co., March 19, 1917. 4-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" high. Two part ticket perforated vertically; printed one side in two colors. Reverse unprinted. Dated validation stamp on each part. Punched hole. A reduced fare ticket allowing a round trip between Newark and Hudson Terminal (N.Y.) or Jersey City or Hoboken, but not to be used at the uptown stations of the H & M except in connection with the H & M's two-cent ticket. The price of this ticket is not indicated. It was apparently sold at the Church Street station as indicated by the "Ch.-1" on the lower left side of each part of the ticket.
