J. Russo was at 542 Bergenline Ave., West New York, N.J. as marked on driver side door. Side body panel has a depiction of a fish and "Fresh Fish" in fancy lettering.
Location is unstated, but the building is the Model Garage, 208-214 Clinton St., as seen (faintly) by a lettered sign in the left; seen better in another window found in photo 2011.048.0002, photo 2.
This photo one of a large group of photographs in this accession of materials disposed of by the Hoboken Police Department when the Department shifted its headquarters from Hoboken City Hall to its new one on Hudson Street. The original documentary purpose of this photo is not stated or apparent. The exterior shot of the van parked on the street near a garage door does not show any activity related to the vehicle or law enforcement purposes.
