Date established from theater posters seen in the Chas [Charles?] Louis Laundry window at 109 (U.S. Theatre: Emil Jannings in film "The Last Command" released U.S. Jan 22, 1928; other posters - The Lyric, The Rialto Stock Players.)
A small boy is at the left; posters for the U.S. Theatre and Rialto Theatre are behind him. An adult bicycle in the street is in partial view.
The Palace Restaurant at 109-111 (address used was 111) was owned and operated by three women, Langley family. Note on window near the 111 entrance: Ladies Invited. A "Special Today" menu board with offerings and prices is seen below "Lunch."
The Rialto Stock Players were presenting "The Creaking Vault" starting on Monday, March 19.
